On assignment with Scenestr magazine I interviewed the director of Flickerfest, Australia’s largest short film festival with Academy accreditation and BAFTA recognition. You can read the interview here http://scenestr.com.au/movies/flickerfest-2019-a-different-way-of-storytelling-20181219
Produced by Eyeball Media Enterprises, Scenestr is an online national magazine with local offices around Australia. Celebrating 25 years in 2018 of publishing history they’ve excelled at moving into the digital realm but they remain at heart from the streets. They still publish magazines in print for WA, SA, NSW, Vic and QLD every month. This interview was published in print in the Christmas-New Year issue for New South Wales on page 28 which is always a thrill for a GenX guy like myself. A digital copy of that issue can be viewed here http://scenestr.com.au/read/NSW/2018/32-NSW/scenestr-NSW-32.html#p=29 If you’re into music they’re a great read but they do cover all of the arts including festivals, stand-up comics, fashion, theatre and film. I feel very fortunate to get to write for them.

New blog name, and a fresh new look! 🙂
Great interview, Lloyd. No doubt you will be catching Flickerfest when it gets to your city. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Dont be so sure Pete but I’m glad you enjoyed the interview. Yes I’m now a paying member of WordPress but so far I prefer my old theme. I’m experimenting with customizing, it’s a work in progress. What do you think? Best wishes Pete.
I will soon get used to it I expect. But I also prefer the old theme, mainly because I was used to it. 🙂
I feel the same, the contrast was better before. This looks like a Myspace page but I’ll continue tinkering with the customize features. Unfortunately it freezes up a lot and so I find I have to do it in bits. 🙂 might as well experiment with what I paid for.
Old theme was discontinued in 2015 and no longer available for upload. 😦
Oh well. Onward and upward, old friend! 🙂
Onward and upward Pete and best wishes.
I clicked on the ad and some of those gadgets sound pretty interesting!
You’re welcome. 🙂
And now we just sit back and wait for the cash to roll in…in 2071.
At least it’s being published! “Write it and the money will come” as somebody once almost said.
I’m joking about the monetizing of my blog John. Your hit rate has to be pretty high to make money this way-but that’s okay. Just one piece of a puzzle I’m putting together. 🙂
